Two people have been arrested after police swooped to catch suspected drug drivers in a Wiltshire town.
Officers from the Roads Policing Unit (RPU) used pre-emptive tactics to stop a Mazda in Calne, on the afternoon of Saturday, March 9.
Following a drugs wipe, which police say was positive, the driver was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.
Shortly after this stop, officers pulled over a second vehicle, an Audi, near Hilmarton north of Calne.
The driver of this vehicle was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis and drug driving after an alleged positive drugs wipe.
Both drivers were taken into custody at Swindon and were later released under investigation.
Police enquiries remain ongoing at the time of writing.
