Wiltshire Council are looking for the owners of three dogs that have been found.

The council’s Public Protection Service shared information about the three dogs asking that anyone with information which will help locate the owners to contact them.

The first is a beagle found on April 17 in Chippenham. It is female, microchipped and a light brown colour.

The second is a lurcher also found on April 17 but in Melksham. It is a male and not microchipped, with a darker brown coat.

The last is another lurcher found on April 17. It is also male and not microchipped, found in Melksham.

One person commented: “Some beautiful dogs, bless their hearts.”

The council stated: “At this time we do not require help with rescue space or rehoming for this dog and we will be unable to reply to any requests for these.

“Anyone with information which will help locate the owner, email us at dogs@wiltshire.gov.uk.

“The owner of any dog being claimed must provide personal ID, Proof of address and sufficient proof of ownership, as well as paying all relevant fees prior to collection.”
